When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Talk about passion.Talk about giving up worldly desires.Talk about sticking to what you do best.
Dang! You’re talking about Indian Ocean.
25 years. Dig this, for 25 years; these guys have just ‘wandered around, playing, singing folk songs like minstrels for peace’. Out of one vision, grew an entire experience called Indian Ocean.
But the ride wasn’t at all bliss. In a country rampant with a standard verse-chorus-verse music scene, where the musicians would seldom gain recognition, four ‘babas’ from Delhi emerged, telling people about various folk tales, current issues, through their songs which followed a simple pattern of music where no strict structure ruled the songs, they were based on musical scales (and not chords), hence, letting the music just flow like a river.
With Amit Kilam on drums,Susmit Sen on guitars,Rahul Ram on bass,Asheem Chakravarty on tabla and all of them sharing vocal duties, Indian Ocean made their foray onto the Indian music scene, with nothing but good music. No big names backing them. No inclination towards the run-of-the-mill type of Bollywood music. What they brought to the Hindi-language music scene was novel and pathbreaking.
All-in-all, what they did was just stick to their passion. Had they given up and sucked up to the corporate culture, the richness of folk music would’ve been away from our ears. Sure, times of tragedy struck them. Haughty record labels dismissed off their music as’ unsuitable for the masses’. The band, together, struggled balancing their day jobs and jam sessions.

Lord Krishna’s words, Indian Ocean just applied it to their way of living.

From Master Blaster to the Legendary Master Blaster!
To begin with salute to the greatest sportsman in the history of the game! Reading this a debate may get ensued. However there are very good reasons to justify the honor bestowed upon him in the beginning of this post. Sachin has been successful in rising as a greatest batsman in spite of all the expectations, oddities, vicissitudes, upheavals, etc. It’s his PASSION, the one that he still continues to have for the game that makes him what he is today. He would have gone through lot of surgeries for end number of times, which player doesn’t? But true players like him get in action in spite of such problems. It’s a PASSION’s call as they say. He not only became India’s greatest batsman by taking over the coveted title from the ‘Sunil Gavaskar’in the recent past, but also managed to become the greatest batsman of the modern times. Sachin is a natural and impulsive batsman. Legend has it that he has got half a dozen shots in his armor for each delivery! He could destroy any bowling attack on any pitch. When you glance at his cricket records, his cricket career and his PASSION for the game you realize that being a legend is not just about playing good cricket it’s also about creating more PASSIONATE followers; it’s also about making the game proud. Sachin did that in style and how!

Death of Michael or ‘Michael Jackson’?
"I Want You Back", started the musical journey of the great Michael Jackson a.k.a. ‘MJ’ as popularly called by his fans world over. Now anyone could have mistaken the voice behind that song to be that of a musical maestro but he broke the territory of stereotype and this was in 1969, when he was just 11; a fifth grader, he was a normal kid but within him lived a young boy who was just PASSIONATE about one thing – Music, a boy that simply amazed you on how could someone so young be thoroughly in command of his gifts, his passion. The journey from being a child prodigy to virtuoso wasn’t an easy ride still nothing could reduce his appetite for singing and shook his zest for good music.
Fast-forward 13 years: During a jamboree held to celebrate Motown's 25th anniversary one could hear the ooos and aahhhhs among the audience that were zapped looking at ‘MJ’ doing what has already become history – moonwalking. Noboby out there could fathom this guy who had just leapt a tall building and no one was sure if they should believe their eyes. He was 24 then; Thriller had been out for four months. That night an icon was minted in an instant: the fedora, the sequined socks, that front leg-kick thing he did-- he flew in from another dimension and looked like the greatest dancer in pop music history. Even in these new endeavors of his one could find the traces of his ‘PASSION’ – music.
Take away the music, and Michael Jackson's life is just too sad to contemplate. This is a very good argument for not taking away the music, ever. His death could well be connoted as not only death of an individual but an institution called ‘PASSION.’ Michael Jackson-- superhero, cartoon, singer, dancer, supremely troubled dude-- made all this music, and surprisingly the death of PASSION as mentioned previously hasn’t completely occurred. It's amazing to experience his PASSION that still continues to thrive in the form of his ardent admirers who religiously listen and love ‘MJ’ for his work. Such was his PASSION, very infectious. If one thing we must draw parallels with in MJ’s life could be his fervor, his craze, the clichéd yet powerful word by now – his PASSION. We're all going to die someday, too. So let's live. Live for what we innately possess – PASSION for something that is truly ours and only ours. This is it!

We all forget the worlds most Passionate Person on this earth - ' Moomaaa'... I simply Love you... And i await to become bigger than your dreams for me to give you all that you would have ever wanted from me... Happy Mother's Day
